Development of Brazil Coffee Speciality
When Brazil shifted its focus from coffee’s quantity to quality, São Sebastião da Grama earned an international reputation. This peaceful countryside has become one of Brazil’s leading speciality regions. The improved farming, organic harvesting, and better processing have turned mass production into premium stock. In this transition, Recreio Farm promoted the specialty of brazil coffee beans and was recognised as a leading provider in the market. The farm workers and management worked hard, resulting in seven victories in the Cup of Excellence.

Farm story
The journey of the Dias family in brazil coffee farming started in 1890. The 100+ years of experience mean the family has deep knowledge about local weather and coffee production challenges. A continuously expanding plantation and a focus on quality increased the need for maximum worker hiring. The owner hired labour from the local and surrounding areas, providing them with houses and basic facilities to live. Still, the farm supports its on-site workers and maintains its long-term responsibilities. This farm does not follow only traditional methods of plantation but has scientifically trained agriculturists to experience new technologies.
About the Brazilian coffee
The combination of tradition and innovative facilities gives a high-quality experience to Brazilian coffee bean consumers. The topographic location of the farm prefers hand harvesting, resulting in only mature cherries being transferred to the processing unit. The wet and pulped natural processing develops original sweetness and a creamier texture. The beans’ traceability during drying, 30-day resting period, and secure storage after processing means you are going to experience a family’s legacy. Diogo Dias Teixeira de Macedo is currently managing the entire operation and following the footsteps of his parents. In UK we import our Brazilian coffee from this prestigious farm to give you the authenticity of flavour and texture.
